Hello,
We are having the same trouble, and have tried all of these suggestions.
However the @ is still " etc. Is there anything else we could try? thanks
Does this occur in new documents or in particular old documents? If the
latter then this could reflect taht the document has been converted from
Word Perfect and you don't have the relevant Word Perfect font installed.

Graham Mayor - Word MVP
Hi Graham,
It occurs in new documents. I did seemed to fix it through the regional
settings. I changed the keyboard to US international and removed some text
lanugage thing. That seemed to fix it. But, now my delete key doesn't delete.
Do you suggest a particular keyboard setting for Toshiba Laptops?
thanks for your help
KJ
