typing issue

I just loaded XP Home Ediion and SP2. After installing my other programs,
when I am typing in any program, the typing cursor will intermitently jump to
the top of the page. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening.

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: TEXT SERVICES , and hit enter.
Then click on "Turn text services off or on". You need to turn-off text
services.
