typed wrong pswd for POP mail sign up

All I've been trying to do for the last 2 hours is find a way to attach a
compressed size photo to an email. I have a Yahoo email account. I have
Vista. I tried doing the Windows Photo Gallery thing and signing up for the
POP3 stuff and going through the authentication, but realized later that I
typed in the wrong password during the set up. How do I go back and change
the password?
Is there a better way using Yahoo mail to attach a compressed photo to an
email?
How do I save a copy of a photo with a changed file content (smaller file
size)?
I am sooooo frustrated!

Is your a free Yahoo account?
US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only, no POP
access. Windows Mail handles POP mail but not Yahoo webmail.
There are two Yahoo solutions:

1. How did you access Yahoo mail before? If you are happy with
webmail via your browser, you can continue to use that.

2. Pay Yahoo to get their premium "Mail Plus" service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/overview/index.html
and use the special settings for that service:

If you are OK with using a non-Yahoo email address, you have three other
solutions:
* Use the email address assigned to you by your ISP.
* Get a free Gmail account.
* Get a free Hotmail/Live account, and use it with the Windows Live Mail email program.
