Txt melts together when printing

Sometimes when I print rtf files the text melts together to pos 1 in every
line, except if the text is bold, then it looks perfect. I don't think it's
a driver issue because this problem occurs on different printers in my
network and even when sent to image writer. I hope anyone know why this
happens, I have tried everything.

John,

I suspect it is a font issue....

If you change the font, does it still jumble up when printing the same
documents? Even if you're using an assumed system font like Arial, it may
not be as advertised and that can cause such an error.

Cheers

Thanks for the quick response Bo. I have tried changing the font, and got a
new problem. Now it changes the text into strange unreadable letters, however
their not merged together any more. Is there a font issue with office 2007?
I had no problems when I used office 2000.

It's a bug that is apparently related to an interaction between Word Add-ins
(Redaction is one) and some printer drivers and Word temp files.

You can often undo it by using File=>Print and switching to another printer
then back, or close Word and recycle the files you find
using
Start=>Search
~$*.*;*.tmp
then restart Word.

Thanks for the response. I've suspected this had to be a bug, the change of
printer works, I’ve discovered that fix a while ago. My problem is that
often there is 30-40 persons in our network and this bug can be pretty
annoying. Do you know if there will be a bug fix any time or is there
something we can do with our printers/drivers?
