two wk2 choices

I just installed a new scsi drive on my computer; first install was not seen
(had to update bios on host adapter), after fllashing bios, 2nd install went
smoothly....but I was left two window 2000 Professional OS choices on boot
up. I remember that there was a way to edit the boot.ini? to limit the
choices given, but I can't remember what exactly to do. Any help?

You can edit boot.ini in any texteditor. There is also a link from the
systems applet in control panel.

HOW TO: Edit the Boot.ini File in Windows XP

That article is written for Windows XP and the OP was asking about
Windows 2000. Theres is no link to open boot.ini directly from the
Control Panel's System applet in Windows 2000 and there is no bootcfg
command line tool.

Instead, to edit boot.ini manually in Windows 2000, you have to clear
the read-only, hidden and system attributes of C:\boot.ini and then open
it in notepad.
