two-sided printing

Does anyone know of a way to print two-sided through
access. I have packets of developmental info that I send
out every month for my agency containing lots of single
page reports. It would be great if we could combine
reports by using both sides of the paper without having
to set the default printer settings to two sided.

Thanks!!

I don't think Access can set the 2-sided printing option for a printer.
What I've found easier for 2-sided printing is to install a second copy of
the print driver with the 2-sided option alredy set in the defaults. Then
depedning on how I want to print, to pick the specific printer. This way I
don't need to go into the printer settings. This also works for color
printers to print in black and white.

If your reports originally are 1 page, I don't know of any way to get
multiple 1 page reports to print double sided without the help of a
thrid-party printing program like ClickBook.

Thanks for the info Kelvin. Do you have any more details
about clickbook? I've never heard of it

Its a replacement for the windows printer queue. When you hit print, this
program intervenes and stores each page as an image. Then it gives you the
option to reprint these images into a booklet, double sided (if your printer
can do it), manually double sided, etc. If you do a search for Clickbook
you should find it. I believe they offer a demo version which you can
download to test the program. I don't think it costs very much either.

Another option is to print your reports to PDF files then combine them into
one. You can then double side these.

Also you can create one report with 2 of your 1 page reports as a
subreports. You can then print this double sided. You can even try adding
more reports, just keep it an even number for double siding.
