Two Questions...?

Hi,

I have got two questions.

I have Vista Sp2.

1: I accidentally deleted all of my program shortcuts from All Programs
folder in Start menu. Now how can I restore my Start menu to Default
shortcuts? then I will manually will keep shortcuts to other of my
programs as I use them?

2: I want a Recycle bin replacement utility as I had one probably Norton
Utilities in previous win versions which replaced Recycle bin with a
nice program which got all of my deleted files and folders and let me
purge any or all of them if no more needed? Plz advise me on this regard?

1. I would probably:
a) create another user account with admin privileges.
b) log in with a new admin account
c) rename C:\Users\OldAccountName folder to C:\Users\OldAccountName.old
d) log off and log on again with the OldAccountName. Since the old profile
folder is renamed, the system would create a new profile folder with default
settings. I would then copy usefull stuff from the old profile folder
(documents, pictures, mail etc). When the old profile is no longer needed, I
would delete it.

2. I never used Recycle bin replacement. My built-in bin serves me well.
