Two problems after sasser

I had to reformat after the sasser worm took hold and now
find on boot up I get a screen that asks me to chose
which sysyem I want to use there are 2 for windows xp. If
I chose the one I get my old desk top before I
reformatted with all my work on, except when I click on
anything nothing happens and I have to switch off and the
other selection takes me to the reformatted desk top with
the stuff I've had to reinstall. How do I get trid of the
old desktop? I hope I've explained this clearly enough.

Secondly, I also getwhen I type @ I get " and vice versa.
Any ideas.

You didn't HAVE to re-format because of the sasser worm. You just
followed stupid advice without investigating the facts for yourself.

Check your regional and language settings for the keyboard problem.
