Two OS choices at boot up

We reformatted and reinstalled Windows XP on one of our newer Dell laptops
and now when it starts up it asks us which install of the OS we want to
start, it gives us two choices, both WindowsXP , but there is only one
install on this drive. Has anyone ever seen this problem before? Please
advise.
