I have two xp operating systems on one hard drive. I did this by reinstalling
xp when I thought my system crashed. Well I was trying to delete the
operating system that I don't use but I opened it and did a disk clean up and
I deleted the system restore obsolete stores. Now when I try to open the main
operating system( the one that I have been using primarily) it wont open. It
goes through the initial start up but then my computer restarts. Ironically
the other operating system opens up but I can't access any files. I don't
know how to open this now and I don't have my xp installation disk anymore.
What are my options. Thank you.

Your first step must be to get a WinXP CD (or a copy). Without
it there is very little you can do.

Simply go to run, type:cmd In cmd type:DiskPart In DiskPart type:list disk
Type:list volume All volumes (partitions are listed with letter),type:EXIT
Go to run, type:diskmgmt.msc In msc L.click the volume that wont open,go
to actions, all, select make active, close out msc.You should be able to go to
"my computer" R.click the volume,open..

You could create a new profile and copy the old profile to it, (if it
still exist).

Found a copy of XP I tried to repair but it would not read my administrator
password. What do I do now?
