Two Items: I.E. Explorer Error Msg & a Pot Virus

When I click out of I.E. Explorer the following comes up:

I.E. Explorer.EXE - Application Error
XThe instructions at "0x02852008" referenced memory
at "0x02852008" ... the memory could not be "Read"

How can I correct this or stop this from happening?

Second question! I received an E-mail re an executable
program called jdbgmgr.exe. A friend told me this was an
old virus that could be in my computer. I searched for
it and found two of them. When I looked at them they
seemed to show Microsoft. This has something to do with
the address book in Outlook/Outlook Express. The icon
for this program was a picture scetch of a Bear. Now,
was this a hoax, was or is this program vital to MS, or
was it truly a virus program?

Appreciate the answers for above situations.

Regards,
Frank

The letter is basically a hoax, at least when it first appeared. Someone my
have written a virus, worm or adware/spyware to take advantage of the fact
that it was a known hoax.

If you don't do Java programming I would rename the files. It is the debug
manager for Java programmers.
