Two ? from an Outlook newbie

Greetings I have two question I need some help with.

First: I am not able to find go to newsgroups at all in my Outlook 2003.
So I have to open OE to access newsgroups. But in Outlook 2003 when I
compose a new message and click on "to:" for addressing the email I get the
following error message. "Can't contact LDAP Directory Server (81)", then
when it opens the address book to select names it is set for opening the
newsgroups and not the contacts folder. I have to click on the pull down
menu to select the contacts folder. How can I eliminate the error message
and also open my newsgroups from Outlook 2003?

Second: I have personal pop email accounts and also business email
accounts. How can I separate them and use a personal (.pst) file for each,
but see both files from one Outlook 2003 screen? I tried setting up a new
personal file for my business email and setting up rules to transfer the
email to the business email (pst ) file with rules upon delivery. But it
would not move the files to the new file. It would give me an error message
stating it could not move the files. So at present I have the accounts
separated within my original personal file. Any ideas how I can send and
receive my business email through the new personal file while only having
one instance of Outlook opened?

Thanx for your help in advance...
Kelly

1) Go to tools, accounts, view or change address books and delete the ldap
item in the list
2) You'll need to use rules like you are doing or you can use search folders
to view them separately.

You shouldn't get the error... what type of account is the business account?

Thanx, your response to item 1 solved my first problem.

On item 2, I created a new data file called xyz.pst in a subfolder where the
original personal.pst is located. Would the problem be due to the fact it
is in a subfolder and can't see it? When I open outlook it sees my
personal.pst file. I set up new folders with the new xyz.pst file path and
name in the properties dialog box. When I use rules to move the incoming or
outgoing messages to the new folders for the xyz.pst file it tells me it can
not move the messages to those folders.

Thanx for you help...

As long as the pst is in the profile, you should not get the error,
regardless of where it's stored. Can you drag messages into it?

Also - is the new pst a Unicode format pst? If you used the outlook
defaults, it should be. If it's the older ANSI format (OL97/2002 format) and
the new one is Unicode, we've seen problems moving things between the psts.
