Hi everyones....thanks for your time.
Is there's a problem (adressing?) with dvd authoring software (Nero, for
example) to have two drives of the same model # installed? Maybe a silly
question but i'm really not shure about the issue, if there's some.

I really doubt it. I had two liteon cd burners in one PC before with
no problems. But that was a long time ago.

Ive often had two different drives with no problems.

One thing Ive found a lot of the DVDs do have problems being read now
due to smudges and scratches. In fact Ive had several problems on DVDs
that looked fairly OK which surprised me. So I thought maybe it was my
NEC which is said to not read messed up disks as well as the BenQ.
Nope. BenQ DVD burner couldnt read it either. In fact so far I havent
seen any advantage in reading messed up disks with the BenQ I have.

If the drives are correctly installed there will be no problem.
they should be visible in the hardware tab as two devices and have
different drive letters.

Thanks a lot for your informative replies!
I have two Plextor 716a burners hooked up on mine. Its great for
burning two copies of the same disc at the same time.
