1008 BIOS update for p4p800-vm reports wrong cpu clock speed...

I have an Intel celeron 1700MHz...and in the system information in the BIOS
settings, the cpu frequency is reported as 800MHz. With version 1007 this
info was correct. Any idea?

You probably flashed your bios and restarted your PC without going directly
to your bios. . In this case, the safest default settings will be set
automatically.
Go to your bios and verify or adjust again all your settings.

Thanks for the reply. No ElJerid, after flashing the BIOS i do restart the
machine and at POST the BIOS sates:
-CMOS settings wrong
-Date/time not set
-Press F1 to run setup
-Press F2 to load default values and continue.

Then i do enter the BIOS settings and i set my time and the other
settings, but for the CPU settings i dont see what can be adjusted to correct
that situation. Here's the settings i have for the CPU configurations:
-VID CMOS setting: 62
(i've readed that this is for adjusting the CPU core voltage)
-Max CPUID value limit: disabled.
(They state that this is used to boot legacy OS's)
I have other information fields that can't be changed:
-ratio status: locked
-ratio actual value: 17
Can't go back to BIOS revision 1007 so i'm stuck with 1008.

Make sure FSB is set to 133, itll default to 100 and that will caus
the clock speed to read slow
