Two documents

A file with the name "xxxxxx" is already open etc etc

This message comes up when I open an excel file from explorer or my recent
documents even when nothing else is open - does anyone know how to get rid
of the message appearing?

Reset your Excel file associations by running "Excel.exe /regserver" from
Start->Run. No quotes; there is a space before the slash.
