Hi,
I've got a client that wants two pie charts, side-by-side, for overhead
presentation. When she first displays the slide, she wants the
right-hand chart displayed with the left hand-chart nearly invisible.
On click, she wants it to reverse (view left-hand chart and the right
hand chart almost invisible), then on the next click, move on to the
next slide.

Is this possible on one slide, or do I need to create two slides?

Thanks,
Gary

Okay, here goes.

Chart 1
Custom Animation|Add Effect|Emphasis|Transparency.
Right-click the effect in the custom animation task pane and choose Effect
Options.
Set the following:
amount = 75%
timing = start with previous
duration = until next click

Chart 2
Custom Animation|Add Effect|Emphasis|Transparency
Right-click the effect in the custom animation task pane and choose Effect
Options.
Set the following:
amount = 75%
timing = start on click
duration = until end of slide

That should do it.

Oh, you know, your client will need to be using PPT 2002 or 2003 for this to
work. Otherwise, two slides will be a better solution.

(Sorry about that -- I know better, too!)
