Tweak VI for Vista - New Build, New Bugs

After reporting bugs for Tweak VI for Vista, build 1050, a new build
(1052) was put out with more bugs:

1. When inserting Tweak VI password protection and exiting, the
program, the program will no longer execute - an immediate main
executable error was noted by Vista when attempting to run the
program. I could not fix the problem through any of the usual means -
disabled UAC, disabled Virus Security Firewall, tried uninstall/
reinstall, tried rebooting, tried running from top level Administrator
- nothing worked. I had to uninstall build 1052 and reinstall build
1050 to remove the password protection, than reinstall build 1052.

- I checked the application event viewer log, and here is the error
detail that was received:

Faulting application TweakVI.exe, version 1.0.0.1052, time stamp
0x45fe952c, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp
0x00000000, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00000000,
process id 0x4e4, application start time 0x01c76ea4b77b2d0f.

2. Also, another serious bug. I attempted to use folder protection to
restrict access to a folder (not any of the Windows folders). It did
not work (the folder could be still be opened), but it did disable the
use of taskmgr.exe. I had to modify the registry to fix.

Reported the bugs already, but thought I'd list them for others that
might be using the program or thinking of using the program.

As long as this is the vista.general group and there's no vista.apps
or vista.utilties, I'm posting it in the right place. If you're
having mental cramps over it, an extra dose of Leponex might be in
order.

I have to agree. What has this to do with Vista? Answer: nothing whatever.

As long as some people here recommend this to others (they do and even
supply links occasionally) this has every right to be here. More so than
your inane comments.

nothing there not already available for free. gotta buy the upgrade to get anything useful.

and the author has a bad attitude.

Steve, perhaps you switched meds with no-name, but the app is a
utility specifically designed to tweak and optimize the Vista OS. By
the way, the next time you employ the "nothing whatever" histrionic,
try using "nothing whatSOever" instead; even if you're wrong, it's
more dramatic sounding with the extra syllable.
