indexer error

I am having a problem with the indexer. The problem is that now and then the
indexer stops and restarts.
At first I thought it was because I had added a USB hard drive to the index
(posted a question in a previous post), but I have removed the USB hard
drive from the indexer locations.
I do not know if it is my anti virus (Norton anti virus Cooperate
10.2.0.224) or if this is happening because it stall has bugs (that will
hopefully be sorted when Vista goes gold)?

FYI: Windows Vista RC2 , build 5744

Error message:

Faulting application SearchIndexer.exe, version 6.0.5744.16384, time stamp
0x45235145, faulting module TQUERY.DLL, version 6.0.5744.16384, time stamp
0x452358d2, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0005388f, process id
0x94c, application start time 0x01c701dbb1687ae3.

Any info or help would be gratefully accepted

You try rebuilding the Index. Open Control Panel > Indexing Options >
Advanced > accept UAC > under the Index Settings tab > under
"Troubleshooting" > click Rebuild > OK.

I also have had frequent crashes of the indexer. Hopefully it's a bug in
RC2 that will be fixed in the final release.
