I had a shot of my brothers tv tuner thingy mabob for the pc.

Struggled to get it working properly and gave up.
What i was wondering is if its the signal for your area, or the type of hardware that differentiates between the success

Seems like a mighty fine idea but dont know if its just a dream :)

Thanks in advance

I got a TV card here you do need a strong signal. What aireal are you using? I am running the TV card through an amplifier and a high gain rooftop aireal.

If it's an indoor one it'll be a weak signal.

It's exactly the same as a regular TV as far as signal strength is concerned, so why people are relating their computer TV card reception strengths or weaknesses, I know not.

nmbrod: see what your telly does (if indeed you have a telly) your pc tv card will be much the same.
