TV out display not working

Running ATI 9600 SE video card with TV out. Using S-video
connection to TV. TV display works fine except with Video
playback using Windows Media Player v. 9.0.
Everthing shown on the computer monitor is reproduced on
the TV display expect for the video window. If I select
full screen display, the computer monitor is full screen
video, but the TV display is blank with a slight purple
glow. This problem occurs whether a stored video file is
player for streaming video off the internet.
However, when using another player, such as Real Player,
the video playback works fine on the TV display.
Please advise.

I have the same problem. I tried with MediaPlayer 7.x and
it has the same problem.
The problem seems to be MediaPlayer.
