I have a video card with G-Force 6600 so if the TV device can take
advantage of it. That would be great. Compatibity of powerful TiVo type
software is important.

Well the first thing to do is pick your "powerful TiVo type software" and
then get the rest of the system off the hardware compatibility list.

The ones I know of that are available and currently supported by anybody are
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, BeyondTV, SageTV (site appears to be
down at the moment--if you can't get there give them another shot tomorrow)
meedio (looked to be very nice while it was freeware but as soon as it was
close to useful it went commercial), or if you can cope with Linux mythtv.

Personally I've got a PVR2-USB and a Dvico Fusion II working fine under
Media Center Edition 2005, which is as close to Tivo functionality as
anything I've found, but the Dvico doesn't run standalone under MCE--it
needs an analog tuner with hardware encoding. If the Sasem Onair has a
hardware encoder (and if they can ever get their support site unhacked--it
was targetted by cyberloonies a while back for some reason) for analog then
it should work standalone.
