TV Hook Ups

I'm trying to hook up my laptop, with windows xp to my big
screen tv. I have a s-video plug and hook up on my
computer and tv. I can get the windows desktop without
any program icons (just picture screen). How do I get it
to show the same thing I'm looking at with my computer.
Thanks.

Many video drivers will include this functionality. NVidia refers to this as
"clone" in its drivers. If your drivers don't support it, then you will need
to turn off the LCD screen, as what you are seeing is the TV being handled
as a second monitor, using multi-monitor support in XP.

The way you have it set up at the moment, the TV is acting as a second
monitor, try moving the mouse around till you see it on the second screen.
You can disable the feature in the display settings and set your TV as the
primary monitor.
