TV Capture Question

Hi ,
Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide for this problem :

I have installed an ATI 128 PRO , Stereo AGP TV card and I want to capture
MPEG 2 for DVD . The problems I am having are choppy picture capture and the
sound only starts at the very end of the video capture . I have been to the
ATI website and downloaded the newest version of Media Center and drivers .
Should I look for another software for capture ?

My computer is a P4 2.8 with Hyper Threading and 512 Dual Channel Ram ,
this must be powerful enough to capture video of high quality ( 720 x 480 )
..

Any help or software recommendations are appreciated ,

Tom

I think ATI considers the "newest" MMC for the 128 Pro to be 7.2. You
need 7.7. Not enough info in your post to give you specific help but I
can almost guarantee the answer to your problem will be found here:

Easily.

You've already got what you need, you just have to get it to work
correctly.

Good Luck.

Thanks very much for the help and the website link .

I returned to the ATI site ( they make it hard to find anything ) from the
link on the site you provided and downloaded MMC version 7.7 and all seems
to be working well .

Thanks again for your quick reply ,

Tom
