TV as sole monitor (Radeon 7500)?

HI: Does anyone know if I can simply use a television (a late model
Sony) as the sole monitor with the Radeon 7500 card? I am putting
together a system that basically will only be connected to my
television as a DVD player (.avi files) and as a digital VCR.

If it has a TV-out, yes... Although it will look horrible on s-video, and
even worse with RCA. I've watched movies with a similar setup. I
recommending using a large font for everything.

I have a 7500 and use it for exactly this purpose with a low powered PC that
stays sitting by my lounge TV (Video player) - you cannot really use it for web
browsing and other things unless you want to end up with bullet proof glasses
before you reach 30.........Excellent card for video playback though.
