turning the computer on

when i turn the computer on at the main box, the process light comes on and
on screen no signal 6,5,4,3 then there is a click (no beep) and the screen
counts back down from 6-1 then screen goes blank and the process light on the
computer stays lit and nothing else happens. normally the screen counts down
to 3 then a beep and it loads up as usual. it is only 6 months old, any idea
of the problem??

unfourtunatley i bought the computer from time, so to my knowlwdge any kind
of warranty no longer exists, i took out silver insurance for three years
when i bought the computer, but cancelled it when the company went bust...
any ideas what could be causing the problem??

It's a hardware issue of some sort and will likely need to have parts
replaced. I suggest a PC shop look at it for you.
