Help please! My computer would power off on shut down
with Windows 98. Now with the Windows XP upgrade it now
just stays at "it is now okay to turn your computer off"
I find it a huge hassle to stick around to shut off the
computer. Anyone know how I can restore my computer's
power off capabilities???? I should still be able to let
my computer turn off on shut down. Anyone with info
please email me. I am being kicked off computer so won't
see any response immediately. Thanks so much for any
help in advance.

Hi Tracy,

This edit controls whether Windows should automatically power down or reboot
your computer once it has finished the shutdown process.

This edit automatically ends tasks and timeouts that prevent programs from
shutting down and clears the Paging File on Exit.
