Turning On Hyper-Threading in XP?

How can I turn ON Hyper-Threading,XP tells me I have Disabled HT in my
CMOS.But what has happened is I Deleted 1 off my CPU's in Device Manager.Or
when I Upgraded my Bios(M/Board)
Any ideas??

reboot, enter bios, make sure it's enabled there. then boot into XP, it
should come back. If not, go into device manager, highlight your system
in right-pane, right-click and choose scan for new hardware. That should
bring it back. If not, select the processor in right-pane, choose
uninstall, then choose scan for new hardware again. It should come back
w/ two processors again. If that doesn't work, well I'm stumped!
