turning off sounds

I have a few Msg boxes that I want to show without the default sound. Is
there a way to allow the msgs appear silently. I don't want to turn sound
off altogether, only for the selected msg boxes.

I don't believe there is any way to do this.

Durn! But thanks for your reply Chip. Looks like I may need to resort to
doing userforms for those messages instead.
