Turning off printing of extra fields

David Aryl

Hi,
We are running Outlook 2003. Recently after an Office update, we are
started having additional fields print when printing an email. Fields such as
Flag Status, Follow Up Flag, plus various fields from out CRM application.
Even if Outlook is launched without the CRM app or any other add-ins, these
fields still print. The Office update that installed about the time this
started cannot be removed.

All we want to print is the simple headers, such as From, Sent, To, Cc, and
Subject.
Is there a way to turn off the printing of extra fields?

Thanks,
David

I don't like using Word as an email editor for numberous reason, but mainly
speed. Can you tell me what files Outlook uses to format the Memo Style?
Maybe restoring these files from an unupdated install would resolve my
problem.

Thanks for the link. It appears that one of these add-ons might could do the
trick, but for 70 users, $ mount up quickly. Would rather have a better
option.

Thank,
David

Not from within outlook's print dialog. If you use word as the editor, try
hitting Forward and printing (then close the message). If that is not
acceptable, there are other tools that might do it. See if any of the tools
at http://www.slipstick.com/problems/printemail.asp meet you needs.

AFAIK, the template is not exposed for editing.
