I get loads of perflib warnings in my event logs. I have no doubt that this
is contributing to a slow down on our server.

How do you turn off performance monitoring altogether so as none of these
perflib warnings are generated?

Thanks,

Brad

Hi,

Could you please give us the exact error message and ID you see in the event
log?

there are circumstances in which SBS2000 (which group I'm answering this
from) generates many perfmon events. I've never actually seen this have an
impact on performance though.

If this is an SBS the M&M's have some notes on their site.

Hi,

I am agree with you, perflib errors do not generate performance issue.
Typically this kind of errors appear because the performance tool cannot
access the performance dll associated (dll deleted, faulty dll, unaccessible
dll, etc..)
A workaround is to unregister the performance dll that appears in the
message error. This is not a real solution but allow to hide the issue.
