turning off margin corners

Guest

For some reason, Word has suddenly started displaying the corners of my page
margins (I guess as a guide to tell me where the margins end), but they were
not there before and I'd like to turn them off. I searched throughout the
view menu and page setup, but cannot find the option to do so.

If you could help me, that'd be great...it's not a major issue, but still an
annoyance.

Two possibilities come to mind:
1. In Word, click on Tools | Options | View | uncheck the
"Text boundaries" box | OK.
2. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=839371 "Margin
marks or crop marks appear on each corner of the page when you
open a document in Word 2002 or in Word 2003".
