Turn on "total editing Time" in excel 2007

Need to track editing time on a workbook,, so need to activate the "total
editing time" function in file properties under the advanced section and
statistics tab.

Hi,

To my understanding Excel does not implement this property, hence
there is no way to turn it on. It shows up simply because other Office
apps like Word use it, and the properties dialog is common to all of
them. If you have a look around, you should find plenty of custom
solutions to this problem, but all of them will involve VBA so you
will have to be hapy to have code in your workbooks, or an addin
running that 'stamps' every file when it opens and closes.
