Turn on Java ???

When I browse to the admin interface of my firewall, it loads the login
screen and then displays the message "Turn On Java to Login". What does
this mean?

I am running WinXP Pro, SP2, fully patched and IE6, SP2. If I use a Win2000
machine, it works as it should.
