I have pc running XPPro, with USB1
I do NOT want to "upgrade" to USB2 (tried and failed) so this pc now a
"slave" on a network.

Have 2 USB2 devices which work fine at USB1 speed, I'm happy (WLAN card and
memory stick)

PROBLEM - How to turn off the infuriating "info" balloon "This device will
work faster in a USB2 port" ?
Must be a registry key, but, which one?

How to turn off the "Hi-speed USB device plugged into non-hi-speed USB hub"
warning message

Thanks, Carey!
Been trying "24hoursupport.helpdesk" ng, who ignored the posted question,
got embroiled with installing USB2 card.
Good to read a reply that specifically answers the posted question, instead
of going off on a tangent (that said, there's some good advisers in that ng)
Thanks again.
Silvabod.
