Turn Off IE "Automatically detect settings"

All of my computers by default have "Automatically detect settings" checked
in IE 6 on my 2000 and XP machines. Since I have an ISA Server as a proxy I
have DHCP push down the Proxy Settings via a WPAD setting in DHCP.

Since GPs get applied after the IP address I thought I could use GP to
install a bogus proxy server on computers that I don't want to have Internet
Access and just not give the computer a default gateway. I have been able
to configure a GP to fill in "bogusserver" for the Proxy, however when I
fire up IE on the computer it is still accessing the Internet via the ISA
server. I can tell because in the status bar in IE it shows breifly that it
looking for the IP address of my ISA server.

Apparrently the Autodetect setting overides the proxy settings if a proxy is
not found. I have looked for a setting in GP that will uncheck the
"Automatically Detect Settings" check box, but I only see a setting that
greys it out. Is there one that will actually turn it off and where can I
find it?
