Turn off column/row header

Could someone help, I am trying to produce a sheet in
which the column headers (the bit with the column numbers
in) and row 'headers' are not visible. I know it is
possible as I have seen it but cannoy find a property in
Excel or VBA.

Tools > Options > View tab
uncheck "Row & Column Headers"
