Turn off Bullets

I thought the Bullet button was supposed to turn on and turn off a bulleted
list. When I create a bulleted list using the Bullet button, I can't turn it
off by pressing it again. Has something changed? I am using Word 2002.

The bullet button should definitely work. Are you seeing this problem
in a particular document (or in documents created from a particular
template)? Or does it happen in any document? Did you install
something, such as an add-in, that could be changing the normal
behavior? What happens if you press Ctrl+Q (which resets formatting to
style)?

Stefan, after reading your response I decided to investigate a little
further. We do have several custome templates that startup when Word opens
and sure enough, it was one of these templates that is causing the problem. I
am not sure why it is a problem but at least I know where to start. Thanks
for your help.
