turn excel list into to contact list in Microsoft Outlook

I have a simple list of last names, first names, full names and e-mail
addresses that I would like to add to my contact list in Microsoft Outlook
without retyping. I con't seem to figure this out can any one help me?

The list is in MIcrosolft Excel worksheet the list is in columns one column
for each listed item.

Does not File > Import and Export... provide the utility you need?

no i get an erro message " an error has occurred in the Microsogt Excel
translator while gettinf the contents of a file system.
the microsoft excel file"C:.... .xls" has no names ranges. Use microsoft
excel to name the range of data you want to import.

Sigh. Don't you suppose you should have posted this information in the first
place instead of making us drag it out of you post by post? Any other
details you'd like to include so we can finish this?

Sigh yourself!! If I was an expert I wouldn't have to ask would I? I
thought maybe I was going about it the wrong way and the experts would be
able to help me without embarassing me. I'm terribly sorry to have bothered
you with my trivial attempt to get some help. as you might have guessed I
new at this computer stuff and was rather pleased to have found a forum where
I could get some help. I will try your suggestion and hope I don't have to
sigh! bother you again.

How could anyone possibly have guessed at the reason you were having trouble
when you posted no information? If this was the problem you were having, why
did you not say so in the first place? It took 7 posts to drag that
information out. None of us can read minds and none of has that kind of time
