TSRs not appearing in Taskbar

There are a number of programs listed under "Startup" in "msconfig".
Normally, seven of these place icons in the taskbar. But sometimes, for
the last few weeks, one to three of these icons (the one for the mouse, for
the mixer, and the display)do not appear.

I have downloaded and run BOOTVIS, but that seems to have done nothing.

Any idea how to remedy the problem? Thanks.
 
You've probably already checked this, but make sure you haven't configured
any icons to be hidden (via Customize Notifications).
