TSID and CSID

I have read all the Microsoft KB articles I can locate,
but I have not been able to learn what needs to go in the
TSID and CSID boxes on the Fax Console configuration. I
need specific examples. Do I just type f-a-x;n-a-m-e, or
do I place specific numbers and names. I cannot type
more than the fax number and 4 letters. If I do place
specific numbers in the two boxes, do I place my own fax
number?

You can enter your fax number and your name, your fax number, just your
name, or leave them blank. I used "HalsFax" for both entries because I
don't have a dedicated fax phone number. Both of these are identifiers; the
TSID identifies you to a person you send a fax to and the CSID identifies
you to someone sending you a fax. If we look at a dedicated fax machine, it
usually has a phone number all to itself and has an owner. The TSID and
CSID for such a machine would normally consist of that dedicated phone
number and the owner's (very often a business instead of an individual)
name. The dedicated fax machine here at the TV station uses the dedicated
phone number for the machine plus "KVOA TV" for both CSID and TSID.
