TSCAL Per User License

Respected Sir ,

We bought 10 TSCAL licenses . Activated a windows 2003 server as a licensing
server . All the 10 TSCal's are issued by the server . But a client PC wth a
TSCAL crashed . I want that user who was using that PC to use another PC .
But there is no license free in the server . How do I release that license
used by the crashed PC in the Terminal Server Licensing Server . So that the
crashed PC replaced by a New PC . I want to relese the license immediately
before the default period of 52 to 90 days .

You can't recall the TS CAL, and it shouldn't be necessary either.

Your TS CALs have an expiration date of 52-89 days. Licenses that
are not used (because the client does not connect to the TS
anymore) will automatically be returned to the LS after the
expiration date. In the meantime, your new client will get a
temporary TS CAL, which is valid for 90 days.

Note that these time periods are choosen to make sure that your
temporary license lasts long enough for the old license to become
available again. So if you are reaching the end of the 90 day
temporary license period without having a TS CAL available, it
means that you have too few licenses and you simply have to buy
extra TS CALs.

Note that your Subject line says "Per User" license, but that
can't be true. Per User licenses are not managed, and you cannot
see if they are issued to a user. So you must have Per Device
licenses.
