Help - Every time I try to view a video clip on the net, I click on the link
and it should then open up Windows Media Player 11 but instead I get an error
message saying: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage and the strange
thing about it is my internet is fine. Now when I try the save target as,
and download it that way it is fine. Can anyone help as it's getting
extremely frustrating!!!!!

What third party players were installed to the system? I'd think that one of
them has interfered with WMP's file association settings. A variety of
(bad) codec packs and alternative players accidentally corrupt WMP's file
association settings. If you use the Default Programs tools to reassociate
WMV to WMP, that may correct this, but that is dependent upon where the
corruption was made.

Thankyou.

I had installed some new software from Nokia for my new mobile so I
uninstalled it and then reset my internet explorer for good measure and hey
presto it worked.

So again thankyou for your help as it was one of those things where it
wasn't really a huge problem but enough to annoy me.
