trying to update xp without internet

I have two computers; one of which is hooked up to dsl internet and just
hooked up a wireless router. My other computer is an older Dell (2001 or so)
and when I went to hook up the wireless adapter; it would not install because
I needed to update the XP with a Hot Fix. How am I able to do this and not
be hooked up to internet???? Help!!!!
 
Download the hotfix to the computer that has internet access and then
transfer it to the other computer with a CD, floppy or thumb drive.
