My calendar has become file has become corrupted I think. I cannot sync my
calendar with my palm. Every other file(contacts,to dos,Etc.) appears to
sync. The detect and repair did not help. The palm people had me create a new
calendar and called it calendar1.The palm syncs with calendar1. How do I
delete the old calendar and then rename calendar1 to calendar.

Can't delete/rename the Calendar folder if it is on a server. Can clear it
out, however. What version of Outlook are you working with? Are you getting
any error messages? Is your Calendar on an Exchange server or is it in a
"Personal Folders"?

The calendar is on a personal computer at home. I only use the copy of
outlook on this computer and sync it with my palm. When I right click the
computer, the delete key is greyed out. The version is outlook 2003. It lists
on the left column calendar, calendar1, calendar in personal folder, and
calendar1 in personal folder. I do not see an error message except on the
sync log on the palm under the calendar. Please let me know any other
questions. Thanks.

You could create a new Personal Folder (aka Outlook Data File) and set that
to be the new default.

To do that, go to File->New->Outlook Data File, click OK, rename/move the
file if desired, click OK. On the Create Microsoft Personal Folder dialog,
change the name from Personal Folders to Personal Folders New (or something
other than the default) and click OK. Now to change the destination -- go to
Tools->E-mail Accounts, Next and from the drop-down box that says "Deliver
new e-mail to the following location:", select the new Personal Folders and
click Finish. (Many different ways to do the same thing). Now nothing will be
in the new Personal Folders New, so just drag what you want from the old, to
the new and try syncing.

Try running Outlook once with the /resetfolders command line switch.
