trying to send email to multiple addresses, no-one is receiving

i used to be able to send emails to multiple addressees from my contact list.
but this had recently stopped and is frustrating as i have to now send an
individual email to each person (this is a club list so i do this regularly
to inform club members).
is it windows who have increased the security without clearly telling me and
can i return to the proper way - is there an alternative way of doing this?
I do have McAfee installed, but have looked at it and there is no part which
says it restricts multiple address emails.

You have provided no information. The term "contact list" has no meaning in
Outlook. What do you mean by it? How are you trying to send to multiple
recipients and what happens when you try? What is your Outlook version and
mail account type?
There is nothing in Outlook or Windows that prevents sending to multiple
recipients when done correctly.

using address book, which looks for email addresses from 'contacts' (hence
term contact list)
i add to 'To:' line as i have done for last 10 years.
email version Outlook 2003 (SP2) part of office pro 2003
pop3 for mail account - i think that is what you are asking
i am not doing anything which i have not done before - when it worked. my
isp provider is ntlworld (virgin media) had account with ntl for over 5 years.
The email goes through outbox and i keep a copy in sent emails. it appears
to go - but no one receives, if i send as a single recipent then they receive.
if windows does not stop this process, can you suggest where i look for who
is stopping them as it is actually happening -

sounds like the ISP is either blocking messages sent to large numbers of
recipients or has always blocked it but you never hit the limit before. Give
them a call.

If the message goes to Sent Items, then Outlook sent it to your mail server.
The problem is with your ISP, not Outlook. Contact them.
