trying to send e mail from Epson scanner

The Epson scanner works just fine, all the way to scanned
items ready for transmission via Outlook Express. At that
point I get a message in effect saying I do not have an
account configuration. I have no idea what this means. I
use Outlook Express, send and receive every day; but all
of sudden I can't send a scanned item from the scanner. I
called Epson and they said it was a Microsoft problem.
I sincerely trust someone will know what I should do, for
which I will be most grateful. Thanks.
 
Firstly check Start/Control Panel/Internet Options/Programs to ensure OE is
selected as yr email app.
If OK then if yr Epsom is the type that has Btns to initiate an eg
scan/copy/mail I would have thought It more likely to be an Epsom setup
problem. Check the Epsom site for updated drivers.
Are you able to email frm any other app, eg a word doc? or file?
