Trying to Remove Movie Maker

I want to remove Windows Movie Maker. It is not listed in the Change/Remove
listing in Control Panel. When I try to just delete the program folder I
receive a message saying that some files are in use by another program, so
cannot proceed. Not sure what this can relate to as I have no other programs
running. I am also unable to delete each component file - they just
reappear. Not sure where to go from here. Appreciate any guidance.

You cannot uninstall it – part of the update. You can however install either
v2.0 or v2.1 which might repair or upgrade the previous version.

Thank you for the reply. I will try that. When you say it is "part of the
update", can you clarify which update it is part of?
