I had previously loaded XP Home on my computer. I was
experiencing problems so I unloaded it, corrected the
problems, and now am trying to reload it. It keeps
stopping during the installation step.

Any suggestions how to get over this?

Thanks,

Rob

Where does it stop and what does it say when it stops?

(The crystal ball is all foggy tonight........)

Describe unloading it. Was XP Home Edition originally an upgrade over your
previous setup which you elected to save and then used the XP Uninstall
routine to return to the previous setup, did you reformat and start over, in
which case what steps did you follow for this procedure, what was your
previous operating system, what are specs on your computer, processor (type,
model and speed) how much memory do you have, how big a hard drive, how much
free space, what peripherals are connected to the system during setup?
