Trying to reformat my hard drive

I installed windows XP on my computer but I am now Having
problems since some friends used my computer and just want
to reformat the hard drive to to removed all the games and
other junk that was installed. Any help on how to do this
would be greatly appreciated.

Have you considered using System Restore instead? Might save you a bit of
work...

If you decide to go ahead with a clean install -you can't format the
Windows drive from within Windows. You need an alternative way to boot
the system and then format. The XP CD is bootable and can prepare the
drive for a clean installation. Check the manual for "clean install"
