trying to recover deleted files

someone<including myself> have deleted some files and need to recover them.I
am attempting to retrieve them but cannot find nor understand the GO button.I
have down loaded the help chart and looking for Folder List.I am new to
computers

You may want to check the Recycle Bin on the desktop. Depending on how you
deleted the files, you may find them there.

If you don't find them there, there's a very good possibility that they're gone
forever. You may want to start looking for backups of those files or start
rebuilding them.
